Our Story
The project- called “African Village Cultural Festival” ( AVC Festival) is a festival that showcases and highlights the fantastic range of African cultures through the African fashion, Arts, foods and music, thus developing the spirit of multiculturalism and tolerance, thus providing a networking opportunity for people from different ethnic background. Our event is open to designers of all nationalities, who are inspired by Africa in their designs. We create a common platform not only for Africans but also for people who love & appreciate everything African. We promote, we network, we share, we learn and we interact the African cultures and traditions through the fashion, foods, music and Arts.

Our Mission


The “African Village Cultural Festival” will redress the balance and highlight the fantastic range of African cultures through the African dress code.
The “African Village Cultural Festival” is a truly international event that harnesses the spirit of multiculturalism and tolerance.
It will play host to multicultural performances, clothing, exhibition, traditional music, and dances from nations right across Africa.
The “African Village Cultural Festival” is also an opportunity to bring together people from all walks of life, with the common purpose to share their culture and to learn from others.
The “African Village Cultural Festival” will also provide a networking opportunity for people from different ethnic background.
The “African Village Cultural Festival” is an opportunity for showcasing the rich history of Africa, and also for creating closer relationships in the African communities.
The “African Village Cultural Festival” is an opportunity for non-Africans to learn about African clothing cultures and to learn and change perceptions about their cultural identities.
The “African Village Cultural Festival”” is a consolidation, a motivation of people from all walks of life in the UK, to share their culture and to learn from others.
